Assuming a "linear" rise in the sea level at half an inch a year, Bermuda will be practically gone in about 500-1000 years. If there is an abrupt rise, well, it will happen sooner... And each house is worth a minimum of US$750,000 for islanders and for non-residents, US$1,000,000. Not a good investment to hand down to your kids...
